Well, a superhero mistaken for a supervillain, learning unwritten rules, I could see some similarities in terms of a style.
Interestingly, I actually have about half a short novel written about an unconventional superhero learning the ropes of the masked community, one in which the cops refuse to use the word "superhero" since the "good guys" are just a bunch of vigilantes taking the law into their own hands, so both sides are hunted by the police.
So things do cross in the interwebs....
