That looks like an abstraction. Likely the beings are partially in other dimensions that mortals are unable to perceive. I mean, I actually have 9 corners...just one is one octave up from my plane. |

Yeah, well if you worship the DemiUrge, and put up with his ever changing rules, mood swings and convoluted, mutually contradicting stories...you need to do some serious drugs. I mean, more serious than I go for.
Particularly if you are a high priest tasked with trying to make all of his pronouncements sound logically consistent.
Hence the drugged hallucinogenic visions when the avatars come to visit.
