Although admittedly, it isn't anyone in the Courts who is celebrating, they really hate those stupid little squawking messenger birds of his. However, a great opportunity for gifting! (I assume you can gift KC purchases like a normal purchase) Tizzy

Are they only on Kindle? Are they on, say, Goodreads or something? |

Goodreads doesn't sell books, directly, and is owned by Amazon.
The Kindle Countdowns are a feature being in Kindle Unlimited, which gives KU members unlimited reading.
A stipulation of being in KU is that T-A-G can only sell ebooks on Amazon.
Early on with Book 1, he tried selling on all the different markets, but Amazon sold like 1000x.
Not hard to do since most of the others sold between 0 and 3 copies (Apple, Play, BN, etc)
So, he signed up for KU and has been there ever since.
Per book it pays the same as a kindle purchase (assuming the person reads the book to the end, he gets paid by words/pages read--first time only)
Unless there is a new book release, over the long haul KU actually pays more than sales because bored KU people pick it up for zero risk on their $.
Many get stuck and read more.
Of course, they get stuck because I meticulously went through and put e-glue on all the e-pages but....

Ummm, Tizzy, that didn't look anything like e-glue. In fact, it looked like somebody had a really good time reading the e-book. E-jizz, maybe? Just sayin'. |

I hope you aren't implying I outsourced this to my cousin? Jisdale?
I wouldn't do that, people get confused enough by his show antics, he's a copy cat type, he even copied the shorter form of my name.
Very annoying.

Ugh. Little cousins can be annoying, I hear. Not that I'd know. <jiggle jaggle> |

Technically, wouldn't cousins be splits from your uncle self? Or Aunt-Self
I.e. your father/mother self split and created your-current-self and your sibling-selfs, and, so your cousin-selfs would be splits of your father/mother-selfs sibling-selfs?

Nah, then all Cubes would be exactly alike. Once a cubeling splits, they start to develop their own...quirks? Personality is a bit...strong. Only a very few cubes become sentient. Most are driven by instinct like any lower lifeform. But unlike more inferior creatures, individuals can evolve to sentience and more.
We're pretty awesome! |

Hmm
Well, given that description, a lot of those cubelets sound like a lot of humans on Earth, albeit basic humans far less chance of developing sentience.
Although, admittedly, Lilith does like those more angry-screamy-militant ones to be imported for her demon armies. No offense to those guys in Doom's Redoubt, generally nice guys once you get to know them, however, they did like to periodically "storm our capitol volcano"

Meh, I prefer slimes for pets/servants. Similar intelligence profile, and much more versatile. |

Well, then you may really like having Denubian Overlords(TM)
They're pretty amorphous, but not slimey, nor transparent/translucent (unless they want to be--???--not really sure, they can change their colors, obviously, not sure they can be translucent though)
