Hi,
So I know many people are waiting for the audio book, and T-A-G and I both expected it to be out by March.
Unfortunately, there were quite a few timing problems with their work load, Stephen's schedule, etc.
However, Tantor has now finally issued a release date.
May 17, 2022.
Yes I know it's later than we wanted, but unfortunately that was what they could schedule.
I think one problem is that T-A-G should have given the more advance warning, say at the start of beta so they could have cleared the decks and been ready to go.
I will make sure he does not repeat that in future books.

Even with a slight delay, I for one am stoked for it to come out. It will be added to my library as soon as I have access to it.

Did you change your email address?
For a variety of annoying reasons, the best thing to do is use gravatar, which the forums will pickup automatically.
So just make sure your desired avatar is selected/uploaded to your registered gravatar account.

The annoying thing about being around since this "Internet" thing started getting big, is I have several email addresses. Sometimes I get them mixed up. |

Yes, I started centuries ago with AOL Dial Up and that's still what I have!
Rural areas in the Abyss don't get fiber, wifi, cable or DSL!

To celebrate the release of the Audio version of OOA:ITN, all 4 kindle books will be on Countdown sale for 1 week starting at 0.99 (cents or pence) in the US and UK stores (I can't do Kindle Countdowns in other markets). May 17-24 2022. Every so often the price will increment up by 1 (dollar or pound) until full price is reached at the end of the sale. Owning the Kindle should provide discounts on the Audible version (assuming you aren't using credits) and it's great to be able to read along with Stephen's narration. I hadn't quite realized how far they push the audio book.
It's on Audible, Audiobooks.com, Play.google.com, bn.com, and apple/itunes, plus probably more that I don't know of.
Of course, the actual books are only on amazon, as that's a requirement for being in KU. But it's nice in theory that people can get it elsewhere, but I'd suspect the vast majority use Audible so they can sync with the kindle, and because that's where the Amazon links go.
But what was surprising/interesting is that many of the other sites are considerably cheaper. Although given the credit system, those Audible prices are sort of murky scryings of the real cost.

Sweet, T-A-G hasn't listened to it yet.
He's complaining that he needs to work on Doom's Day, but secretly just wants to write A Galaxy Far (Far) Away, and listening to it will make him write on that.
Which he can't do, because that gets him way too far ahead into Book 5 and even Book 6. (Plus his audio book contracts are currently for COA and Book IV before doing new ones for OOA v2)
But I am a little concerned about "Got me all excited about the Tizzy-verse all over again!"
How could one not be excited by all the stuff going on our multiverse? (And I am flattered you refer to our shared reality as the Tizzyverse!)
